Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed by your professional driver-guide and transferred to your hotel.
This evening is reserved for relaxation after your international flight. Your guide will brief you on the safari while you enjoy your first night in Uganda.

Day 2: Entebbe – Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary – Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, depart for Murchison Falls National Park.
En route, stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Nakasongola for an exciting guided rhino tracking experience on foot. Learn about Uganda's successful rhino conservation program before continuing north.
Arrive at your lodge in the evening.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive & Nile Boat Safari
Begin the day with an early morning game drive across the northern savannah.
Wildlife commonly seen includes:
- Elephants
- Rothschild's giraffes
- Buffaloes
- Uganda kobs
- Hartebeests
- Oribis
- Lions (occasionally)
- Leopards (with luck)
After lunch, enjoy a boat cruise along the Victoria Nile to the base of the spectacular Murchison Falls.
Along the river you may encounter:
- Hippos
- Nile crocodiles
- Elephants
- Waterbucks
- Numerous bird species

Day 4: Top of the Falls – Kibale Forest National Park
Visit the breathtaking Top of Murchison Falls, where the Nile squeezes through a narrow 7-metre gorge before plunging dramatically below.
Afterwards, begin the scenic drive to Kibale Forest National Park via Fort Portal, passing tea plantations and enjoying magnificent views of the Rwenzori Mountains.
In the evening, enjoy a guided community walk through Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, famous for birds, monkeys, and local cultural experiences.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale Forest
After breakfast, head into Kibale Forest for one of Africa's finest chimpanzee tracking experiences.
Besides chimpanzees, the forest hosts over 13 primate species including:
- Red-tailed monkeys
- Black-and-white colobus
- Grey-cheeked mangabeys
- L'Hoest's monkeys
The afternoon is free to relax at the lodge.

Day 6: Kibale – Queen Elizabeth National Park
Drive south to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda's second-largest national park.
Enjoy an evening game drive across the Kasenyi Plains, home to:

- Hyenas

Day 7: Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise
Start the day with another early morning game drive in search of predators and other wildlife.
In the afternoon, enjoy one of Uganda's finest wildlife experiences—a boat cruise along the famous Kazinga Channel.
Expect to see:
- Large pods of hippos
- Nile crocodiles
- Elephants
- Buffaloes
- Waterbirds
- African fish eagles

Day 8: Queen Elizabeth – Kisoro (Bwindi Region)
Drive through the beautiful Kigezi Highlands, often called the "Switzerland of Africa."
The journey passes:
- Rolling hills
- Tea plantations
- Banana plantations
- Terraced farms
- Traditional villages
Arrive in Kisoro and prepare for the following day's gorilla trek.

Day 9: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Today is the highlight of the safari.
After an early briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers, begin tracking one of the habituated mountain gorilla families.
Tracking can take between 2 and 8 hours, depending on the gorillas' location.
Spend one unforgettable hour observing these magnificent endangered primates.
After the trek, transfer to Kisoro town.

Day 10: Golden Monkey Trekking & Optional Coffee Tour
After breakfast, head to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park for Golden Monkey Tracking.
These endangered monkeys are playful, energetic, and unique to the Virunga Mountains.
In the afternoon, you may participate in an optional local coffee experience where you'll learn traditional coffee processing from harvesting to roasting.

Day 11: Kisoro – Lake Mburo National Park
Depart for Lake Mburo National Park, stopping in Mbarara for lunch.
Arrive in time for an exciting Night Game Drive, offering opportunities to spot nocturnal wildlife such as:
- Bush babies
- Genets
- Hyenas
- Porcupines
- Leopards (occasionally)

Day 12: Morning Game Drive & Canoe Ride
Enjoy an early morning game drive searching for:
- Zebras
- Impalas
- Topis
- Elands
- Buffaloes
- Warthogs
Later, take a peaceful canoe ride on Lake Mburo to observe:
- Hippos
- Crocodiles
- Water birds
- Fish eagles

Day 13: Lake Mburo – Entebbe
After breakfast, drive back to Entebbe.
En route, stop at the Uganda Equator for photographs, souvenir shopping, and the famous water demonstration.
Spend your final evening relaxing in Entebbe.

Day 14: Mabamba Swamp Shoebill Excursion & Departure
Early in the morning, visit Mabamba Swamp, one of Africa's best birding sites.
Take a guided canoe excursion in search of the legendary Shoebill Stork, along with numerous wetland bird species.
Return to Entebbe for your airport transfer and departure flight.
