Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Bwindi
Meet your driver-guide in the morning. Travel through the mountainous regions of Rwanda into Uganda, passing highlands, terraced farms, crater lakes, and the scenic Virunga Mountain ranges.
Overnight stay at Ichumbi Gorilla lodge/Rushaga Gorilla lodge.
Day 2: Mountain Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi
After an early breakfast, prepare for a thrilling mountain gorilla trek in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
Bwindi is unique in hosting both mountain gorillas and chimpanzees, along with five other primate species, 113 mammals, 200+ butterflies, and 360 bird species.
Return to the lodge for overnight.
Day 3: Golden Monkey Tracking and return to Kigali
Embark on an exciting trek to find the Golden Monkey (Cercopithecus kandti), a striking primate native to the Virunga region. Enjoying the forest and wildlife experience.
Transfer to Kigali for your evening flight departure.
